OOTW – Vintage Tea Dress

I’m always on the quest to find special beautiful items of clothing or accessories that really stand out and also I love buying them for as little as possible.  It’s a great excuse for buying lots of lovely things if they are a bargain, right!!

A few weeks ago I brought a gorgeous vintage tea dress from a Ebay shop called The Hooting Owl Boutique.  They have listed some great items and so far I have purchased two bargain dresses, one of which is my dress of the week.  This ebayer is particularly great as when you buy and the postage is less than they stipulate they refund you the difference, now what ebayer normally does that!

My outfit of the week features a lovely tea dress which is quite sheer in fact I think I need a slip if I am going to wear this out.  It has gorgeous bell sleeves and floaty skirt and pretty pearl and gold tone button detailing all for £7.50!  The condition is amazing for the age of this dress and the previous owner obviously looked after it very well.

I contrasted the look with my recent Dorothy Perkins buy, some brown leather look ankle boots but this would also look great in summer with some pretty sandals.

I’m always on the hunt for upcoming brands and quirky designs and love vintage so if you have any recommendations, let me know I’d love to feature them.
