OOTD – Pretty Pastels

Pastels are always a big hit for spring and this season is no exception.  I don’t actually have a lot of pretty pastel pieces to choose from and when I do buy this spring trend I like to go for something with a little twist.  This cute coral and peach pastel pleated skirt is perfect for creating a pretty feminine look and adds a little something different to the trend with the block colourings.

My skirt is from Sugarhill Boutique and my basic white vest top is from Primark, as the skirt sits high on my waist it creates a lovely silhouette and flatters my curves.  The pleats make the skirt even more interesting to look and it skims my profile perfectly.  Today was perfect to show off the colours, with the sunlight really making the colours pop.  Please excuse my pink arms as got a little burnt last weekend!
