Over the past few months I’ve had some major changes in my normal routine so blogging is taking a bit of a back seat but also a slight new direction. After having a major wake up call life wise and taking on a new challenge – I’m training to become a number cruncher, life is taking a hectic yet more settled feel. Yes the two don’t sound like they go together but not wanting to jinx it but things are starting to fall into place.
I enjoy the simple things in life and myself and hubby love chilling out and not taking ourselves to seriously so whilst i’m busy trying to train and revise for exams, the little time left over is hopefully going to be spent trying out new things, visiting new places sampling lots of lovely places to eat!
I’m creating a little Things to Do and Travel review section which will feature restaurant, pub, hotel, event and attraction reviews plus much more. Everything will be super affordable as I don’t have lots of money to spend on lavish trips abroad and expensive penthouse suites at the Ritz. It’ll be an honest and average joe review of lots of places that we can visit right here the UK with the possibility of some overseas trips.
Some of my initial posts will include things to do in Devon, places to eat and very soon my upcoming trip to Birmingham for the Clothes Show Live with a hotel review of the refurbished Travelodge in Birmingham Bull Ring.
There are tons of things to do right here in the UK so hopefully my little adventures will inspire some affordable ideas for everyone.
