My City Break Wishlist

January always seems to be a slow month and for many like myself, I am looking forward to the warmer weather and lighter evenings.  I technically live in a holiday destination and I love living here, gorgeous beaches and a few miles away breathtaking countryside.  It really has the best of both worlds but I still have a few places I’d love to visit both in the UK and abroad.

Although I do love a good beach holiday, I generally like to see different things and have a little adventure.  I decided this year that instead of saving for a big summer holiday that I would try and fit in a few city breaks.  I have a few places that I would love to visit and I’ll be looking for the best deals to hopefully have a budget break whether it’s in the UK or abroad.

Next month myself and hubby are taking a short city break to Dublin, I’ve been there before and really loved the vibe of the city.  People were friendly and the hospitality was fabulous.  Other cities I’d like to visit include Reykjavik, Gothenburg and Edinburgh to name a few.  I’ve compiled a short list of my ideal city breaks for 2015 and would love some advice on the best places to go.  Take a look and share your favourite city experiences.

I’m off to Dublin and Barcelona with my boyfriend this year, so excited! I’d also love to visit quite a lot of places in the US, I’ve done NYC and it was amazing!

Good choices! I really want to do a mix of UK and abroad breaks. So far on my list are Oxford, Canterbury and Whitstable in the UK and Lisbon, Zurich and Paris abroad this year. City breaks are definitely the best way to use annual leave.

I am a city break addict! I am going to try and do the first 6 months seeing more of the UK – I want to get to Scotland and down to Devon as well. Then hopefully somewhere further afield later in the year – I want to do Greece and Croatia for sure! Ah just need to save up now 🙂 x

Dublin, Edinburgh and Gothenburg are all lovely cities! I would really recommend Prague, Madrid and Rome, if you haven’t been there. I just visited USA for the first time this fall, and went to both Chicago and New York, which I loved as well!

Me and my boyfriend loves to travel, and this year we have plans for Bahamas (perhaps with a few nights stay in Miami), New York and Iceland 🙂 xx
