When I’m planning a getaway, I spend quite a lot of time researching an area or resort to make sure it has everything I need for the perfect escape. Not being a lover of your typical all inclusive packages, I love to track down quirky, unusual places that spark the imagination whilst providing comfort and a hot shower at the end of a long day.
A popular country for sunny holidays is Spain and it’s islands. Majorca is somewhere I have been a few times and for an all rounder it’s a great country to visit. Whether you want to party or enjoy authentic Spanish living, this little island has it all. On my previous visits I have stayed in your typical hotel types and just recently I discovered an amazing authentic boutique in the northern town of Alcudia. Alcudia is a historic walled town which has an abundance of medieval, gothic style and this gorgeous hotel fits perfectly with its surroundings.
“Restoration of historic tower house into extravagant boutique hotel”
If you love authentic and beautiful architecture, then this boutique escape is perfect for a Majorcan holiday. Recently renovated and elegantly restored, this former manor house has been transformed into a first class hotel with a perfectly delicate modern interior which doesn’t take away from the grand exterior and exquisite style.
It has everything you can expect for a luxury hotel break including sophisticated en-suite rooms, WiFi, satellite TV, fridge, phone and complimentary tea and coffee making facilities. The added bonus to this amazing escape is grand contemporary decor and a magnificent spa which truly adds something special to this amazing restoration project.
Hotel Moustache will be opening its doors at the end of March for its big launch and they have recently launched their website which has a booking facility. This stunning boutique hotel is certainly as must see in the town of Alcudia and will provide a unique holiday experience on the beautiful island of Majorca.
