I’m a big sender of flowers, living quite far from my family and friends using an online store to send flowers and gifts has always been a great way to send that someone special something lovely. Whether it’s birthdays, mothers day, welcome home flowers, I love sending and receiving flowers as they really brighten up a room and someone’s mood.
As a creature of habit I use one main online store for my flower purchases and recently I was introduced to a new online florist, someone I’d never actually heard of or used before. I chose some beautiful simply tulips, one of my favourite flowers (I even have them tattooed on my arm) to see what the quality and value of the service was like. The flowers arrived in good condition, still in bud which is better for longer life, they also came with some chocolates and cute greetings card which is a standard feature with all orders from iFlorist.
I trimmed the stems and popped them into some water with the feed provided and took some snaps to show you how lovely they looked. They were thirsty things and although I filled them up with plenty of water, due to the colour of my vase I hadn’t realise they had used it all up so unfortunately they wilted pretty quickly, oops.
Overall the flowers were lovely and a good bunch of tulips for the price. I would definitely give them another try as they have a great selection of bouquets and gifts to choose from.
