Dublin…. here we come!

On Sunday I’ll finally be getting away on our little city break to Dublin.  It’ll be nice to have a break from the norm and get do something different.  I’m on a mission this year to do and see more things and this is the first trip of many I have planned.  I’ll also be visiting London later this month and Snowdonia in the coming months.

Our Dublin trip will be short and sweet but myself and hubby are squeezing in a day trip to Galway and The Cliffs of Moher too.  I’m really excited to see the beautiful scenery and explore the city too.  I’ll be posting a big city break post when I return and can’t wait to show you all the amazing places we visit including our hotel and tour experiences.

It’ll be great to try out the camera on some stunning sights and show everyone how a city break can be done on an affordable budget.  Don’t forget to check out my giveaway whilst I’m away and win some fabulous tickets to the BBC Good Food Eat Well Show in London at the end of Feb.  Check out http://elsiedelilah.com/bbc-good-food-eat-well-show-giveaway/  to enter

Have you ever been to Dublin, what did you get up to on your trip?

Dublin is great, but rather expensive. You’d be better off staying away from Temple Bar for drinks as the prices are astronomical, but it’s pretty cool to walk around in. The Guinness Factory is pretty cool too, and you get a free pint of the black stuff. Or Smithfield, it’s an industrial chimney that was converted into an observation tower. Hope you have a great time!

I recommend you have a Guinness in any of the little pubs in Temple Bar
