Wow time seems to be flying at the moment, christmas is well and truly on its way and unbelievably I have been quite organised this year with only a few people left to buy for. Blogging has suffered a little though as I have been crazy busy with exams around the corner and hitting the gym classes 3 times a week. There never seems to be enough hours in the day to share everything on a regular basis.
For the last six weeks I’ve been turning over a new leaf on my quest to be fitter and healthier, I’ve seen some great results although I have had a few slip ups but overall fitting my new healthier and fitter routine into everyday life has been easier than I thought. After a few incredibly busy weeks, this weekend I’ve had a chance to unwind and Friday night, me and hubby thought we’d have a treat and order a takeaway.
Now for those of you who don’t live in the city, ordering a good takeaway can be a bit of a challenge due to no delivery options or travelling a good few miles to go collect something, luckily it’s not just something on my doorstep so that removes some temptation! Saying that and after seeing lots of TV ad’s, we thought we’d give JUST EAT a go. Simple, order online get it delivered to your door and a choice of several takeaway options that do delivery to your area.
Due to my location I didn’t have an amazing choice but I had an urge to have a pizza, we firstly chose a takeaway in a local town. It did have a tiny delivery charge but we thought we’d give it a go, unfortunately they declined our order, not entirely sure why but I do think it was due to the distance they had to deliver to. A little disheartened the email stated we could try and choose again from another takeaway, we chose again and voila our order was accepted. I was sure it was going to take ages and they’d turn up stone cold due to the distance but within half an hour our pizzas were delivered, super hot! Bonus!
The website was really easy to use and if you live in a city or town I’m sure the choice would be far more substantial. It gives you a variety of choices from indian, chinese, italian foods and many more with lots of offers to get the best value as takeaway food can be expensive.
After a lovely weekend with christmas shopping, lunch with my gym buddies and a takeaway, I’d better try get back on the healthy wagon.
